Outdoors Job Board

Tree Planting!

Hi U of Guelph outdoor club members,
Do you want a job where you can work as harder than you’ve ever worked before, be outside all summer and earn a lot of money? You may be interested in tree planting. I’m working as a crew boss for Heritage Reforestation Inc. ( http://www.heritageinc.ca ) and in the process of hiring my crew. If you think you might be interested in tree planting, let me know and I’ll give you more information.

Outdoor Tripper at Camp Outlook

Hey Outdoors (wo)men!

Here’s some information about an opportunity for this summer that you folks might be interested in! It’s a perfect way to make a real difference in the lives of youth while spending the summer in Algonquin Park for free!

Camp Outlook is a non-profit, charitable organization run entirely by volunteers. We bring youth from the Kingston area experiencing social, behavioural, economic, or other difficulties on wilderness canoe trips in Algonquin Park. We are looking for a committed group of trippers for the 2014 Summer season! Room, board, and all training is provided ~at no cost~. No previous tripping experience is necessary!

Here’s a link to Outlook’s website and the application, which is due on February 28th by midnight. Email us atsummer@campoutlook.ca if you have any questions or just want to chat about it! Thanks! http://www.campoutlook.ca/index.htm

Looking for experienced tree planters! My name is Franco Loparco, I’m a crew boss for Outland Reforestation (http://www.outlandplanting.ca/Planting.aspx). This will be my second year as a crew boss and I am looking for experienced tree platers to work the Kapuskasing contract this spring. Tembec, our client, has increased our tree price to 12 cents for unscarrified. If you can put in 3 to 4k a day there is easily the potential to make a killing and a spot for you on my crew. For more information, you can reach me at

Hope to hear from you fellow gryph planter!

    Franco Loparco
